Independence Community College Cheer will host a Kids Cheer Clinic on Saturday, Nov. 7, giving students in kindergarten through eighth grade the opportunity to learn with the ICC cheer team and perform at halftime of that day’s game.
The clinic will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. in the ICC Fieldhouse. Participants will learn a routine to perform at halftime of the game, which begins at 1 p.m. at Shulthis Stadium.
“We’re excited to welcome kids to learn alongside our cheer team and be part of game day,” said Erica Cope. “We hope they leave with new skills, new friends and a little extra Pirate pride.”
Registration is $25 per child and includes the clinic, a T-shirt and participation in the halftime performance. Families must register and pay by Friday, Oct. 23, to allow time for T-shirt ordering. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes and bring a water bottle.
Additional details about returning to the stadium and participating in the halftime performance will be provided at the clinic. For more information, contact Erica Cope at ecope@indycc.edu.
