Independence Community College invites the community to its Community Chorale Fall Concert on Tuesday, October 13, at 7 p.m. in the William Inge Theatre.
The concert will feature ICC students and community members performing a variety of choral selections under the direction of Sherri Durbin, with accompaniment by Christina Wulf.
The program includes “Shenandoah!,” “Pete! Pete!,” “Shake the Papaya Down,” “Play for Me a Simple Melody” and “Poor Wayfaring Stranger.”
“One of the joys of Community Chorale is bringing students and community members together through music,” said Sherri Durbin, ICC Community Chorale Director. “We’ve enjoyed preparing a program with a variety of styles, and we look forward to sharing it with our audience.”
The Community Chorale brings campus and community voices together, offering ICC students and area residents an opportunity to make music and perform together.
Community members are invited to bring a friend and enjoy an evening of music while supporting local singers and ICC’s music program.
