As ICC celebrates 101 years of serving students and the region, the ICC Foundation is looking toward the future with the launch of The Next 100 initiative and the Crew 101 giving campaign supporting students and the College’s next chapter.

Supporters can join The Crew 101 giving program with a $101 contribution to the ICC Foundation and become a member of Crew 101, a special group recognizing those who choose to invest in ICC’s next century. Contributions through Crew 101 will provide flexible support for student opportunities and emerging College priorities.

Throughout the 2026–27 year, Crew 101 members will receive four exclusive ICC gifts as a thank-you for their support: an ICC hat in October, ICC logo socks in December, a clear ICC logo bag in March and an ICC beach towel in May. Gifts will be mailed directly to Crew 101 members throughout the year.

The idea is simple: 101 years after ICC first opened its doors, today’s supporters have an opportunity to help shape what the next century will look like for the students who walk through them.

“For more than a century, ICC has been a place where students have come to build a better future for themselves, their families and their communities,” ICC President James P. Arnold said. “That doesn’t happen without people who believe in this College and are willing to invest in the students who come through our doors. The Next 100 is about carrying that support forward and making sure the next generation of Pirates has those same opportunities.”

Arnold said the initiative is about recognizing that ICC’s next century is already taking shape.

The Crew 101 giving program, however, is about more than what supporters receive. Contributions to the ICC Foundation help strengthen the student experience and create opportunities that extend beyond what tuition and traditional funding sources alone can provide.

Hailee Townsend, a sophomore student-athlete at ICC and recipient of the Jim Arnwine Science Scholarship, said support from donors can make a difference in ways students may not always see.

“ICC has given me a lot of opportunities to grow, not just as a student but through everything I’ve been able to be part of here. I’ve met so many people, had experiences I probably wouldn’t have had otherwise and learned a lot about what I want for my future,” said Townsend. “It means a lot knowing there are people in the community who care about ICC and want to support students like us. Their support gives us more opportunities while we’re here, and hopefully someday we can come back and do the same for the students who come after us.”

For the Foundation, The Next 100 is also an opportunity to bring together people whose connections to ICC may look very different — from longtime alumni and former employees to local businesses, families and community members who simply believe in the role the College plays in the region.

“The strength of ICC has always been connected to the people who believe in this institution and the students we serve,” said Cody Oates, Executive Director for the ICC Foundation. “Whether someone has been connected to ICC for decades or is choosing to support the College for the first time, every gift matters. The Next 100 gives all of us an opportunity to celebrate where ICC has been while investing in where we're going.”

Supporters can become a member of Crew 101 with a $101 contribution, commemorate the campaign with a larger gift such as $1,001 or $10,001, or choose another giving level that is meaningful to them.
