Independence Community College invites students to take part in a full day of creativity, performance, and hands-on learning at the Spring Arts Spectacular on March 12.

The event begins with a special student matinee performance of Ride the Cyclone, followed by an interactive talk-back session with members of the cast. After lunch, students will rotate through short, engaging classes connected to a variety of Arts and Letters disciplines, offering opportunities to explore different creative fields in an interactive and welcoming environment.

The Spring Arts Spectacular is designed to introduce students to the depth and diversity of the arts while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

“This event gives students a chance to experience the arts in a dynamic and personal way,” said Chris Cameron, Senior Recruiter. “From live theatre to hands-on creative exploration, the day is meant to spark curiosity and help students see how the arts connect to communication, storytelling, and the world around them.”

The immersive day highlights ICC’s commitment to providing meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom and showcasing the value of the arts in education and community life.
